Active Hose loop

I. Product Overview (Hose loop)

  1. The Hose loop is used in oilfield operations such as cementing, acidizing, and fracturing.

  2. The Hose loop assembly consists of swivel joints and straight pipe assemblies, making it easy to stack, transport, and store.

  3. It is suitable for high-pressure fluid transfer in various oilfield applications, including discharge lines, injection lines, well testing lines, cementing slurry lines, and other high-pressure service conditions.

  4. A wide variety of swivel joints can be configured with the Hose loop.

  5. Hose loop specifications are available in , , , , and sizes, with a Working Pressure range of ().

  6. The Hammer Union and the high-pressure straight pipe can be designed as an integral (one-piece) or separate (two-piece) unit. Separate units are generally suited for lower pressure manifolds, while integral units are typically for higher pressure manifolds.

  7. The Hose loop primarily comes in two structural configurations: Long Radius Hose loop and Flexible Hose loop. The standard swivel joint configuration is Figure 50, with Figure 10 available as an option.

  8. Active Manifolds (or Swivel Manifolds) of various specifications, pressures, and lengths (ordered by deployed length) can be provided according to user requirements.

II. Design Features

  1. The swivel joints included in the Hose loop feature high flexibility, excellent resistance to impact and vibration, and large flow capacity (or high volume flow).

  2. The Hose loop provides excellent sealing performance.

  3. The Hose loop uses a three-lug nut (Hammer Union) connection, which allows for quick make-up and break-out (fast connection and disconnection) and features reliable pressure sealing. This design also facilitates easy stacking, transportation, and storage.

  4. Anti-sulfur Hose loops for (sour) service are available for acidic conditions.

  5. The threaded connections comply with international standards, allowing them to be interchangeable with similar domestic and international products.

  6. Specifically, the Flexible Hose loop structure has only one Hammer Union connection point, which minimizes the risk of leakage, reduces weight, provides greater rotational flexibility, and enhances safety during use.
